FAQs

Procurement & technical questions, answered

What lead times can you offer on technical ceramics?

Standard catalogue items ship from UK and French stocks. Bespoke or machined parts typically take 4–10 weeks depending on material, geometry and quantity. We confirm a firm date with every quote.

Can you supply small or prototype quantities?

Yes. Our distributor model means we are comfortable with prototype runs and small batches, with the option to scale into production volumes through the same supplier relationships.

How do I decide what material or grade of ceramics to use?

Choosing the right ceramic material or grade depends on a wide range of variables — from operating temperature and mechanical demands to electrical properties, chemical environment, and dimensional tolerances. With so many factors at play, it’s rarely a straightforward decision.

The best starting point is to talk to our technical team. We’ll work with you to understand your specific application and recommend the most suitable option for your needs.

Do you provide datasheets and technical support in French?

Yes. Anderman Céramiques operates in France with a native French commercial team, French-language datasheets and technical advisory.

Are you ISO certified?

Anderman is ISO 9001 quality-management certified and Cyber Essentials certified. Material certificates of conformity are supplied with every order.

How do I request a quote?

Use the Request a quote button at the top of any page, the contact form below, or call our UK office on +44 (0)1299 252485.
